About Sarah O'Kelley

On paper I am a certified sommelier and wine director at Edmund’s Oast in Charleston, SC. In spirit I am a wine-loving, food-loving, word-loving, and fun-loving lady who wants to share those passions with like-minded souls.

Like most folks I’ve wound up here in a roundabout way. I’ve studied journalism, worked in test kitchens, written cookbooks, owned a restaurant, and manically studied wine. I am beyond lucky to work in the field that I love.

Here, all my worlds collide – I talk of wine at the table. I share recipes and the stories behind the wines. This is why I love wine and food – they both connect us to the past and to the present. And an excellent meal thoughtfully paired with wines truly grounds us in the present moment.
