Drink More Champagne (this week)!

Yes, I am BACK! From a busy summer and blog laziness – just in time for our 5th Anniversary Sale & Party at the shop I manage -- The Exchange at Edmund's Oast! And for this very monumental anniversary we are offering 20% off all sparkling (including Champagne!) all week long and have our BIG PARTY this Saturday from 3 to 6 (see above flier for details)!

Firstly, let me holler out the biggest THANK YOU to all of you who have supported us through thick and thin! I have met SO many incredible folks during my time at EOX, and I am beyond grateful for all of you.

Now that the gushy stuff is out of the way, allow me to provide you with some of my top picks to snag at our sale this week!

Ngeringa Pet Nat $38 → $30.40

Biodynamic, Australian deliciousness; we tasted this with the importer and master somm last weekend and fell in love; he describes it as kiwi strawberry Snapple for adults!

Tiberi il Musticco Rosato Pet Nat $31 → $24.80

SO SO glad these natural Umbrian wines are back!! A variety of Garnacha blended with touch of Ciliegiolo for a chuggable, sparkling dark rosé!

Chateau Peybonhomme Pet Nat $37 → $29.60

Biodynamic Cab Franc Pet Nat from Bordeaux? Yep and it’s fantastic! (And it's rosé!)

Vadin-Plateau Champagne Renaissance 1er Cru Extra Brut $45

This has to be one of the greatest “value” grower Champagnes out there! It is 100% Meunier, which is quite lovely on its own if you have yet to experience – exhibiting florality and immense drinkability :)

Champagne Caze-Thibaut Naturellement 2019 $56 → $44.80

We got just a smidge of this 100% Meunier Champagne back just in time for the sale/party! Don’t miss out this go round – no more until 2023!

Champagne Piollot Brut Reserve $62 → $49.60

For those of y’all who love the Marie Courtin Champagnes…RUN to to the shop and grab this beauty from her husband; 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay; I just had it on my vacation – total stunner! (very limited)

Nowack La Tuilerie $82 → $65.60 We featured the Nowack Champagnes in last week’s newsletter, but I have to make special mention of my fave – their 100% Chardonnay from the 2017 vintage. It is dreamy! (very limited)

Venus Grand Cru Brut Nature 2015 $276 → $220.80 → $36

The most unicorn Champagnes from a unicorn producer (i.e. VERY hard to find!) The Venus is made from their best parcel in the acclaimed village of Avize, a .33 hectare vineyard called La Fosse that was planted in 1959. In 2000, Agrapart began plowing the vineyard by horse in order to reduce soil compaction. The horse was named Venus and also gave her name to the wine. (very limited)

Thank you again for 5 great years!!
